Download or delete your Samsung Health data

Samsung Health lets you download a copy of your personal data or permanently delete it from your account. Whether you want to create a backup of your health information or remove your data for privacy reasons, you can do both directly from the app in just a few steps.

Note:

  • Deleting your Samsung Health data is permanent and cannot be undone. All of your Samsung Health data stored on your phone or tablet, in the Samsung Health app, and on Samsung Health servers will be permanently deleted. If you want to keep a copy of your health information, download your data before deleting it.
  • The information provided applies to Samsung Galaxy devices sold in Canada. Available screens and settings may vary depending on your wireless service provider, software version or device model.

You can download a copy of your Samsung Health data at any time. This allows you to review the personal information associated with your account or keep a backup for your records.

1 Navigate to and open the Samsung Health app.
2 Tap the More options icon (the three vertical dots in the upper right corner) and then select Settings.

3 Scroll through the available options, then tap Download personal data.

4 Tap Download.
5 Allow the necessary permissions and, when prompted, enter your Samsung account information.
6 Wait for the download to complete, then tap OK.

Note: To access your downloaded data, open the My Files app, then tap Downloads. Open the Samsung Health folder, and then select the folder that contains your downloaded data.

If you no longer want your personal data stored in Samsung Health, you can permanently delete it directly from the app.

1 Navigate to and open the Samsung Health app.
2 Tap the More options icon (the three vertical dots in the upper right corner) and then select Settings.

3 Scroll through the available options, then tap Erase personal data.

4 Tap Erase.
5 When prompted, tap Erase again to confirm your decision.
6 Enter your Samsung account information, then tap OK to permanently delete your personal data.

Note: The deletion process may take some time. You won't be able to create a new Samsung Health profile until the deletion is complete.
