Why Is The Food In My Refrigerator Frozen?
To keep food from freezing in your refrigerator, try the following:
- Set the refrigerator control to a warmer setting. The ideal temperature setting for your refrigerator is 38°F (3°C). If you have set it colder than that, your food can freeze.
- Move the food to a warmer part of the refrigerator. If the food has a high water content and you have stored it in the coldest part of the refrigerator, it can freeze.
- Increase the temperature in your kitchen. A kitchen that is too cold can cause the temperature in your refrigerator drop below what it should be.
