Unlike other OLEDs I’ve owned, the handling of glare is phenomenal—I can watch in the middle of the day without any annoying reflections. ​The peak brightness is fantastic, colors are incredibly vivid, and the screen uniformity is perfectly clean and even. It is also exceptionally fast; the responsiveness for gaming and fast-paced motion is incredibly smooth. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrading to this 55” OLED was a huge change in more ways than one. 1. Display – an OLED display with a matte finish works perfectly for my bright room. Its screen is plenty bright enough to be viewable where the blacks still look very much deep black. The matte finish doesn’t take away from the picture quality at all. The best part of the of a matte screen is the lack of reflection in a bright room which makes the experiencing of watching TV less distracting during the day. 2. Sound – I was really impressed by the audio from this TV. It has depth, range, and a richness I would expect from a soundbar. The TV’s volume also gets very loud. The audio is still very clear at a higher volume as well. With all confidence, I won’t be going with my sound bar and just using the audio from the TV instead. It’s that good especially for a small room I have the TV in. 3. Ecosystem – I have Samsung appliances, tablets, earbuds, and the like and these devices integrates with the TV seamlessly. They automatically connect once the devices are turned on. I’m able to get notifications on my TV as to when my laundry is done or my oven has preheated. I find it really useful if your already in the ecosystem 4. Form – This thin but the bottom of the TV does provide confidence in mounting this TV on wall mount. The bezel less design makes the TV look really good where it becomes a centerpiece in my room. In terms of heat, the panel doesn’t really get too warm where it would warm the room. Overall – this TV fits the bill for all my needs

Setup was a bit complicated with installing an app but once everything was setup you get added features and can even control everything right from my phone. Some of the Ai screen features are more helpful than i thought such as soccer mode which really enhances the game. Im not a huge fan of the samsung tv apps but they provide things in 4k vs my cable box so still trying to get used to all the additional navigwting. I was also able to connect this to the new music studio speaker for even greater listening and again everything connexted together snd easy to control. Would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first OLED TV and I didn't know what I was missing. The black is truly black. None of that slight grey glow like on a regular TV. Because of this, the colors pop even more with the true contrast of actual black against them. Everything I've thrown at this TV looks fantastic so far. Soon as I decide on a good sound setup to pair with it, it will be my main television for entertainment. It's got every feature you could want as well. Plenty of apps like Plex, AppleTV, Netflix, etc. It even has built in gaming for Nvidia and a few others. I haven't tried them but I'm sure they work great based on the rest of the features. This is the first "Smart TV" where I didn't hook up an external player like Roku, or Apple TV streamer. It's fast, responsive, easy to navigate, and doesn't need an external box for once. That's probably the most impressive feature for me. Overall, I love this TV and will enjoy it for years. I'd recommend it to anyone that is interested in an extremely well-rounded smart tv that doesn't sacrifice any features. This thing has it all and does it all very well.

Blacks are actually black, colors pop more, and it just looks way sharper than a normal TV. One of the big things it has is Samsung’s Gen3 processor, which basically cleans up whatever you’re watching and upscales it closer to 4K. So even older shows still look pretty solid. It also has OLED HDR+, which helps with contrast and brightness, so you see more detail in dark and bright scenes. Movies especially look really good because of that. If you watch sports or play games, it’s super smooth too. It can go up to 144Hz with so everything looks clean and not blurry when things move fast. Gaming wise, it’s built for it. It has HDMI 2.1, fast refresh rates and it has VRR support, so it keeps up with newer consoles without lag. The smart side is easy. It runs on Samsung’s Tizen system, so all your apps like Netflix, YouTube and others are right there and load quick. You can also use voice control if you want. It’s also super thin and looks clean mounted or on a stand, so it doesn’t feel bulky at all. This is just a really solid TV. Great picture, smooth performance, and packed with features that actually make a difference when you’re using it every day.

One of the best improvements is the peak brightness versus their last lineup which makes it much more feasible to mount and run in a bright sunlit room. Up next is the clarity at 165hz when hooked up to my RTX 4080. Racing games and their contrast look great with the oled blacks and contrast levels and you don't need a dark room to enjoy them. I was surprised at how loud the built in speakers can get which I was using while testing. HDR10+ works great with my z fold when viewing videos taken in enhanced mode. I'm ready to run thru my backlog of hdr enhanced movies to further appreciate this panel. The included stands are sufficient while wall mounting is easy as always.

The colours are exceptional and having the MAT screen, I can leave my curtains open full sun and I don’t have a problem seeing the picture, and watching football just brings it to another level with the speed that the picture displays in. The Samsung remote is so easy to use and fit very nicely in your hand and is simple to use, love having a remote that is light charged. If you take the time to sit down and read all about the tv it has so many extras I still haven’t explored all at this stage. I must mention how thin this tv is this was another reason I love the Samsung TV

So I went from a QLED 7F to an OLED S70H. I changed because I sold my house and I wanted an upgrade from the QLED 7F. I really like the OLED S70H, except for; The quality seems to be a little lighter than what I got in the QLED 7F. Specifically, the stand. With the QLED I had a wal mount. This time with the OLED S70H I use the stand. The stand on the OLED is much cheaper than the stand was on my QLED. Everything else is great. I love Samsungs remote. I do really wish my OLED had the old stand design.

The colours are sharp and refined the blacks are deep and crisp. In a bright room is where this TV truly shines, the matt finish is a stand out with zero glare even on the sunniest days and lightest rooms, but then at night the OLED display is perfect for a movie. The smart features are quick and responsive and it pairs beautifully to our existing sound bar for an incredible cinematic sound experience. The display is razor thin and incredibly stylish complimenting any room it goes into. Do yourself a favour and buy it, you won’t be disappointed with this TV.

I live on the top floor of a unit complex and its very bright from the natural light, i got this tv to help with the glare and for me has out preformed itself. really has made a difference for daytime tv watching. That said the night viewing and colours are amazing, super bright and easy to adjust, the speakers are ok and not that bad though i do like good sound and paired a BOSE ultrasound bar and woofer to the tv and is simply amazing, everything i hoped for. Great tv and all my Apps/Foxtel and Wi-Fi connections works a treat, easy to navigate and lots of options. I recommend this tv 10/10

The picture quality is great and both the 4K channels and upscaling did not disappoint. The ability to adjust the brightness and contrast to my personal preference for my room was easy and find the two movie modes deliver to my taste. Have tried the AI mode and the soccer mode and found the colours too bright so need to do a bit more playing. Picture skin tones very good. No pixelated issues like I had with striped shirts on my old Samsung from time to time. Very uniform pictures. Coming from a 1080p world this is night and day difference.

I still currently have the tv fitted on the plastic slot in feet that come with the tv. This is a concern as they seem quite flimsy and are not so easy to fit. I will be wall mounting the tv so I can also make use of the Q990h soundbar. The issue with the design of this OLED is that it cannot be flush mounted because of the back design. This is frustrating as I wanted to mount it like the frame but wanted a OLED. My only work around for this flush mounted is to build a recessed wall which I hope to do down the track. I do appreciate the anti glare as my room has adjacent glass windows and several ceiling light fixtures.

I love this TV. The anti glare screen is actually anti glare. I have a lot of windows and lights in my living room. The glare from those on my previous tv was horrible. It would ruin the show. I received the television two weeks ago, and since then I have been extremely happy. The picture is very bright, and the contrast is excellent. I watched most of the World Cup games with the television, and it is just such a pleasure. The definition is fantastic. I had to make adjustments to get it just right, but once it was set, the picture is stunning. I've never seen so many options to change the picture. I like the anti-glare coating. It really helps in a bright room. The television has a lot of apps, of which Perplexity is one of them. Perplexity is very, very helpful. I use Perplexity a lot because I can get very detailed answers to complex questions, and I can get very simple answers for anything that I want to know. The remote is very good. I love how easy it is to push the buttons, and I like the microphone. It enables you to get to any part of the TV that you want. I also have the Samsung HW-Q800F/ZA Sound Bar. By the way, the audio that comes out of that thing is phenomenal. I have it hooked up to the internet, and I just can't praise it enough. I listen to videos with music, and the movies are just stunning. It really, really makes a big, big difference. All in all, I have to say that this was a fantastic purchase, and I am very, very happy with the television.

It's much brighter than the OLED that I had owned previously with only 50% brightness needed for ordinary viewing. The matte display is excellent and has made watching with blinds open in daytime possible. The UI is very responsive, with the TV quickly detecting and switching between inputs. The settings and remote have taken some getting used to when coming from another brand, and I'm still surprised at the lack of Dolby Vision for a TV in this price range.

Setup sucked as we are a Samsung household and it tried connecting to all of our phones at once to complete set up, which caused it to glitch out. Ended up having to make everyone leave the house besides the person setting it up. Once set up it has worked perfectly! I did have to teach the others how to use the remote that we hardly use as it syncs up perfectly with our gaming consoles. Graphics are amazing, we haven't played much with the AI stuff as it was a little glitchy. But watching TV has been a thing we started doing again as the image quality is so much better than the non OLED models. The only real downfall besides being so thin is that the base is so low we had to create a secondary stand so the gaming consoles could sit under it. Otherwise I have not heard a singular complaint from my household since they decided to take it over for their gaming purposes. I tried to get a good shot of the image quality but my phones camera really did not do it justice.

As I unboxed, I immediate noticed how super thin the edges are, literally thinner than my monitor which was shocking. I was so worried that there would be a crack or a dent from the shipment because of how thin the upper edges are. The lower half of the TV is a bit thicker as it had the meat and potatoes of the screen inside, but still very thin compared to other TVs of the recent past. The colors! This TV has such deep blacks, and such a range of color, it is incredible. Whether watching the NCAA final four tournament, or watching an episode of Game of Thrones, the colors are stunning and visually satisfying. Ai is built in to help with colors and things if you allow it which is pretty cool. I have a PS5 and have played NBA 2K, Assassin's Creed Mirage, and Ghost of Tsushima, I almost dropped drooled at the graphics on these games. So crisp, so clean, and there's a whole set of game mode settings which allow you to make adjustments that you'd like for your preferred viewing. The sound! This is the first TV I've ever had or been around where the sound sounds like they have real speakers built in! There is base, treble, all of the things and if I didn't already have a sound bar and a music frame, I wouldn't feel the need to buy one! The one thing I don't like. There is an auto detection mode where if you walk by the screen, it automatically turns on to the brief page (which gives you a summary of current events, weather, music). I don't like this mode so I turned it to manual instead. This TV is a 12/10, I don't see myself changing for years to come.

The TV itself is impressively thin and setting it up on a stand was rather straight forward. However, I didn't have it on the stand for very long, as this TV looks even better wall mounted. It can get very flush with the wall, so flush you could almost convince people it's a piece of art hanging on your wall. Speaking of art, the pictures I took don’t do it any justice! The colors absolutely pops when watching movies and gaming. The anti-reflective coating makes it great for both day and nighttime viewing. My room has a trapezoidal window that's difficult to cover, so daytime light is unavoidable. This TV absolutely handles it like a champ! On most TVs, just a little light will turn the entire screen into a mirror. When the TV is off, you can see how the light diffuses across the screen but when actually watching content it completely disappears. In the image of Mario Kart World (on Rainbow Road in the stars) you can somewhat see it in the top right corner, but in most scenarios you are never going to notice it. One thing that definitely surprised me with this TV is the sound quality. When I first turned it on, I put on Jeopardy and thought, “Wow the dialogue is pretty good!” Obviously Jeopardy isn’t a great test of audio quality, which is why I decided to watch Encanto! The opening song was a tad worrying, since the instruments were louder than the vocals. However, I think that might be a problem with the audio mix, because every other song sounded great! I wanted to test the AI audio features, however I couldn’t turn off the AI video features, which were not to my liking. Finally, gaming on this TV was amazing! There are a few quirks with getting HDR set up on the Switch 2, but there are countless videos that help. Playing Pokopia was a blast! Seeing all the colors pop on the screen and hearing the game’s soundtrack on this TV was a real treat. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone as it looks fantastic! I can’t wait to watch more movies and games on it!

Assembling the stand and putting it on my furniture was pretty easy!! I needed just a hand to move it correctly.I did most of it by myself. The screen is very slim. Instantly it has a modern look. Although I can’t really see the anti-glare film on the screen , I have already noticed it has less glare than my previous TV. The set up was easy and it prompted me to download the SmartThings app. There were a few instances where I felt like the operating system was asking for too many privacy permissions. My phone is a remote control through the SmartThings app and the physical remote control is very responsive and slim. The voice command button on the remote does not work, I don’t know why, I did plenty of trouble shooting. The feature works on my phone remote though and I can search things with AI (bixby). A lot of the times it misunderstands me or takes me away from what I want on the TV so I don’rt use the AI search feature unless I am desperate. Installing my apps was easy, but I had to figure out Samsung‘s App Store, which I had never used before. It was straightforward and logging into my apps was easy ‘cause I can use a QR code. Now to the TV itself, the picture. The screen is VERY bright so I am very happy with that! In the past when I’m watching my favorite shows that have clandestine sneaky, dark scenes such as basically anything in the Game of Thrones series.On my old TV I couldn’t really see what was happening in the dark and that’s the reason I wanted to upgrade. This TV is a game changer in terms of the clarity of dark scenes!! When this TV really really blows me away is in high contrast scenes such as tribal council in survivor where you have rich blacks, and then fire. This looks amazing on this Oled screen. Having this clear high contest picture brings me to a new level enjoying drama and my whole family has noticed the difference. Also the TV OS is very fast and it makes a cool old timey blip when I turn the TV off. Overall I am happy with the tv, the picture and sound are both great.

Video Features: Absolutely fantastic. Definitely lived up to expectations in terms of Brightness, clarity contrast and definition. The problem is inconsistent but clearly incorrect synchronization between the video and the audio when going through a Senheiser Soundbar. AV sync is sometimes ok on live recordings but gradually goes off as you view a recorded program. Turning the set completely off and back on will reset the synchronization most of the time, but this feature is definitely a nuisance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung S90H tv is very bright and thin. Unboxing it was a breeze with the design of the box and the padding was sufficiant. I was surprised at how thin the tv was which made it wary on how to hold the tv when mounting it but with 2 people it was easy. I used a vesa mount and the detatchable power cord makes sure you don't trip over the wire. When I first turned the tv on, most of the settings were good out of the box and I fired up my ps5 and was glad to see the high refresh rate work out of the box without having to tweak the settings. Love the TV! So glad we were told about the anti-glare screen cause it’s phenomenal and the color is very vivid. No disappointment with anything but the setup and delivery through the geek squad! They hire out to a 3rd party and they (as we were told) are not allowed to do anything, not even the box! Just rebook it up and make sure it turns on, no demo or instructions….on a new TV.

I bought this tv a couple of weeks ago, I was all worried about the "not bright enough" stigma that comes with OLED. I was pleasantly surprised. I had to actually turn down the brightness. I downsized a little from 75 to 65, but hugely upgraded image quality (HD to 4K OLED). So far I am happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Samsung 55' Oled S90H which was on sale! at JB HI FI a week ago and I'm extremely happy with it. The contrast, brightness and uniformity is amazing. No more glare from the windows on both sides of my TV room and no more seeing the lit table lamp on the screen at nighttime. The remote is sleek and half the size of universal remotes but covers all the functions you need. I would highly recommend this product and also a shout out to the very helpful Ben at Warrawong and to the two young men who installed my tv including the apps for the tv channels we had lost on my old TV. This probably saved me quite a few hundreds getting an aerial person for a new antenna and tuning in my television. I'm very happy with my Oled tv currently recognised as the best on the market so don't wait too long go and check it out for yourself and get 'sold' on it.

I had seen this model at my son's house and marveled at the picture quality so decided to get one of my own. WOW! It's like you're in the room with the actors! Also loved the easy setup, the integration with my DIRECTV remote and the sound as well! I bought this year model S90H blindly thinking I would get comparable quality as last year model S90F QD-Oled plus glossy panel. This year was a complete let down from Samsung. Getting matte coating on top of Woled was really not expected. I'm really disappointed with the lack of contrast and color from the Woled panel compared to the QD-Oled and the dull image coming from the matte coating.

Bright enough for our living room, granted we don't have direct exposure to sunlight. At max brightness it is very bright and the blacks remain proper black. We purchased this to replace a 48" Sony that was getting older, yet still had a decent 1080p picture. My wife was always saying that she couldn't see what the big deal was about a high definition TV, and it just looked like a normal picture to her. When this Samsung was set up and she first saw the picture, her first word was "Wow". Then she said, I see what you mean, the detail and color rendition is amazing. I had to agree. The set was in the Family room that received afternoon sun. That made the Sony hard to see because the Contrast seemd washed out. Not with the Samsung. The contrast is clear, the screen is bright and the picture seems to jump off the screen even in the brightly lit room. Both of us like to watch sports, and recently had on a soccer match. Becase of the television's high refresh rate, everything was crisp, with no lag on the moving ball when struck, no more blur. It's like watching the match from the stands. Needless to say we are both very pleased with the result of this purchase.

To charge the remote with solar energy, set the TV remote down with the solar panel facing up. In case the remote's battery is depleted, you can charge it using a USB-C cable.
