After measuring your stress using your phone or Galaxy Watch, you can view your results and track changes over time in the Samsung Health app.
To help ensure accurate stress measurements, follow these tips:
- Wear your Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring correctly so the sensor stays in contact with your skin.
- Remain seated, relaxed, and as still as possible until the measurement is complete.
- Keep the sensor clean and free of dirt or debris.
- If the measurement seems unusually high or low, rest for about 30 minutes before measuring again.
- In cold weather, warm up before taking a measurement, as low skin temperature may affect accuracy.
- Keep your Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring software and the Samsung Health app up to date.
There are a few additional factors to keep in mind when measuring your stress level:
- Stress measurements are intended for your personal wellness and are not designed to diagnose or treat medical conditions.
- If your heart rate is unusually high or low, your stress measurements may be less accurate.
- Your stress measurements may vary depending on your surroundings, activity level, or how the device is being worn.
- Smoking or consuming alcohol before taking a measurement may affect your recorded heart rate and stress level.
