Track your menstrual cycle with Samsung Health
Cycle Tracking in Samsung Health helps you monitor your menstrual cycle by recording your period dates. It provides predictions for upcoming periods and lets you track symptoms, physical condition and mood throughout your cycle. If you use a compatible Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring, Samsung Health can also use overnight skin temperature data to improve prediction accuracy.
Note: The information provided applies to Samsung Galaxy devices sold in Canada. Available screens and settings may vary depending on your wireless service provider, software version or device model.
Cycle Tracking uses your cycle history to estimate your next period, fertile window and ovulation date, helping you better understand your menstrual cycle.
Note: You can select one day at a time, for up to 21 consecutive days.
- My cycle history: View your recorded cycle history.
- Settings: Update your cycle tracking information, including your cycle length and period length, or customize options such as period predictions and fertile window predictions. If you're pregnant, tap Situations that affect your cycle, select I'm pregnant, enter your due date and then tap Save.
- About cycle tracking: Learn more about Cycle Tracking and access additional resources.
Note: For more accurate predictions, you can wear a compatible device with a skin temperature sensor, such as a Galaxy Watch5 (or a newer model) or a Galaxy Ring. However, a compatible device is not required to use Cycle Tracking or receive predictions. See the next section to learn more.
You can record your skin temperature using a Galaxy Watch5 (or later) or a Galaxy Ring. If you have both devices, it's best to choose only one to ensure consistent measurements over time, as skin temperature can vary between your wrist and finger.
The Skin temperature measurement feature records your body temperature while you're sleeping. To ensure accurate recordings, you must sleep for at least 4 consecutive hours between 7 PM and 9 AM. The feature does not measure your temperature during daytime hours.
Note: Skin temperature can be affected by the surrounding environment. During sleep, it is recommended to maintain a consistent wearing method, such as position, posture, clothing and room temperature. Skin temperature measurements may be affected if the room temperature is too high or too low.
Cycle Tracking is available on Android phones when using the Samsung Health app. If you use a Galaxy Watch, Cycle Tracking is also available through the Samsung Health app on compatible watch models.
Note: Skin temperature measurements are available only with a Galaxy Watch5 (or any newer models) or a Galaxy Ring.
If needed, you can delete your Cycle Tracking data at any time.
